What you'll do

Design and optimize distributed systems for high scalability, resiliency, and large-scale data processing.
Implement fault-tolerant mechanisms including redundancy, replication, automatic failover, circuit breakers, and timeouts.
Develop automated tools and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to manage cloud infrastructure and troubleshoot issues.
Build monitoring systems including dashboards, telemetry, and alert configurations to proactively detect system failures.
Perform load testing, fault injection, and brown-out scenarios to ensure system correctness and performance.
Participate in incident response, root cause analysis (RCA), and the creation of operational runbooks.
Apply advanced security controls such as encryption and access management for multi-tenant environments.
Ensure infrastructure compliance with industry standards through consistent documentation and change management.

What we're looking for

Must have 3 to 5+ years of experience in software engineering.
Ability to read, write, and speak English.
Experience designing and optimizing distributed systems for scalability, resiliency, and operability.
Proficiency in implementing fault-tolerant paths including redundancy, replication, and automatic failover.
Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) and automation scripts for cloud management.
Ability to implement advanced security controls such as encryption and access controls.
