Senior Software Engineer, Core Infrastructure

What you'll do

• Design and optimize distributed system components for high scalability, resiliency, and large-scale data processing.
• Implement fault-tolerant features including redundancy, replication, automatic failover, circuit breakers, and retries.
• Develop monitoring infrastructure such as custom dashboards, telemetry systems, and automated alerting mechanisms.
• Create automation scripts and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to streamline troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Perform load testing and fault-injection scenarios to ensure system correctness and performance.
• Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and the creation of operational runbooks.
• Apply advanced security controls including encryption and access management for multi-tenant environments.
• Maintain compliance with industry standards through consistent documentation and change management protocols.

What we're looking for

• Applicants must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Candidates must have 3 to 5+ years of experience in software engineering or related fields.
• Experience is required in designing and optimizing components for distributed systems with a focus on scalability and resiliency.
• Proficiency in implementing fault-tolerant paths including redundancy, replication, and automatic failover is required.
• Skills in developing automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for cloud infrastructure management are required.
• Candidates must be able to implement advanced security controls such as encryption and access management.
• Experience with performance testing, load testing, and telemetry systems for monitoring component health is required.
• Ability to perform root cause analysis and participate in incident response is required.
