As a Senior Software Engineer, Core Infrastructure, you will join the OCI Networking team to build large-scale distributed infrastructure for the cloud. What we're looking for
BS or MS degree in Computer Science or a relevant technical field involving coding or equivalent practical experience.
5+ years of total experience in software development.
Demonstrated ability to write high-quality code using Java, GoLang, C#, or similar object-oriented languages.
Proven ability to deliver products and experience with the full software development lifecycle.
Experience working on large-scale, highly distributed services infrastructure.
Experience working in an operational environment with mission-critical tier-one livesite servicing.
Strong knowledge of AI adoption including prompt engineering, agentic programming, ChatGPT, and Codex.
Experience with public cloud platforms (preferred); Infrastructure as Code/Terraform (preferred); SQL/NoSQL databases (preferred); Kafka or Spark (preferred).
