JOB TITLE: Senior Software Engineer, Cloudflare Queues The Senior Software Engineer, Cloudflare Queues joins the Emerging Technologies & Incubation team to build and maintain a managed, global message queuing service. You will design and ship new features, improve reliability, and enhance performance for a service that allows developers to buffer and deliver messages between Workers with at-least-once delivery and configurable guarantees. This role requires owning code from inception through release across all layers of the software stack. You will utilize AI-assisted development tools while ensuring security and quality. Key requirements include experience with distributed systems, data, and systems-level programming. You must possess solid understanding of TypeScript/JavaScript, API design, and monitoring high-volume production systems. What you'll do

Design and build Cloudflare Queues as part of the developer platform.

What we're looking for

Authorization to receive software or technology controlled under U.S. export control laws is required.
4+ years of experience with distributed systems and data (preferred).
Experience using AI-assisted development tools across the software development lifecycle (preferred).
Solid understanding of TypeScript/JavaScript (preferred).
Strong systems-level programming skills (preferred).
Experience monitoring, alerting, and debugging high-volume production systems (preferred).
Experience designing and building APIs (preferred).
Experience with continuous integration workflows and git (preferred).
