What you'll do

Develop and maintain global connection pooling to reduce database connection times.

Write technical design documents to outline solutions for specific infrastructure problems.

Develop features using Rust, Go, C++, or TypeScript to improve developer experience.

What we're looking for

You must have 4+ years of professional experience with Rust, Go, or C++.
You must be able to write code that respects CPU and memory constraints.
You must be proficient with the Linux networking stack, including TCP/IP, TLS, and WebSockets.
You must possess a deep understanding of database internals, including connection lifecycles, transaction states, and wire protocols.
You should have experience debugging complex, distributed systems for high reliability.
Experience with PgBouncer, ProxySQL, or custom database middleware is preferred.
Familiarity with the Cloudflare Workers ecosystem and ephemeral computing challenges is preferred.
You must be authorized to receive software or technology controlled under U.S. export control laws.
