What you'll do

Design and implement core middleware and operating system components for autonomous vehicles and edge devices.
Develop fault-tolerant distributed systems capable of operating over degraded or intermittent communication links.
Create APIs, interfaces, and tooling to enable internal teams and third-party partners to integrate with the Lattice SDK.
Build software that abstracts complex hardware and networking into clean, reliable software interfaces.
Ensure diverse physical platforms can reliably run and interact with the core operating system.
Develop high-throughput data processing and system orchestration solutions for mission-critical applications.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant field, or equivalent experience.
5+ years of professional software development experience in systems programming, distributed systems, or robotics.
Deep experience with C++, Rust, or similar systems programming languages.
Proficiency with protocol design, serialization, and implementation such as gRPC, Protobuf, Zenoh, or DDS.
Experience building solutions for high-throughput data processing, transport, or system orchestration.
Must be a U.S. Person due to access requirements for export-controlled information or facilities.
