What you'll do

Design, build, test, and ship MongoDB integrations for AI frameworks like LangChain and LlamaIndex.
Conduct initial exploratory research to assess new frameworks and define minimum viable integration versions.
Submit high-quality code to upstream open-source repositories and navigate external maintainer review cycles.
Manage the operational health of integrations including monitoring, upgrades, and issue triage.
Develop and maintain engineering practices for CI/CD, automated testing, and version compatibility across the portfolio.
Partner with internal teams to define required driver, platform, and product capabilities for integrations.
Mentor peers and shape team architecture, development practices, and technical roadmaps.
Monitor the AI builder ecosystem to identify and advocate for new integration opportunities.

What we're looking for

Must be based in Gurugram for the hybrid working model.
Requires 5+ years of experience building backend systems or developer-facing libraries.
Must have strong proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript.
Experience building core components for scalable, high-availability services, developer platforms, or libraries is required.
Proven success in designing, writing, testing, debugging, and performance tuning software in large, long-lived code bases.
Demonstrated ability to deliver complex projects independently with minimal guidance while managing a portfolio of projects.
Strong interest in modern AI builder workflows, including AI frameworks, agentic patterns, RAG, and vector search.
Excellent verbal and written technical communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional partners and open source maintainers.
