What you'll do

Apply privacy-by-design and security standards to ensure HIPAA and GDPR compliance.
Participate in architecture reviews to define service boundaries, data models, and communication patterns.
Troubleshoot production issues and contribute to incident response and post-mortem analysis.
Mentor junior engineers through code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge sharing.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
Minimum 9 years of experience with distributed, cloud-native systems.
Strong programming expertise in Java with hands-on production experience using Spring Boot.
Strong skills in microservices architecture and REST API design.
Experience with Kubernetes in production environments and familiarity with service mesh concepts.
Hands-on proficiency with messaging and streaming systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
Knowledge of secure coding practices and compliance requirements including HIPAA and GDPR.
Familiarity with Kotlin or Python (preferred).
