Senior Software Application Engineer

What you'll do

• Analyze and solve complex on-product issues to meet specific customer technical node requirements.
• Integrate ASML products into customer fabrication environments and manage global rollouts.
• Fine-tune software products for optimized performance within customer production processes.
• Train other software application engineers to provide ongoing customer support.
• Align software product roadmaps with future customer needs in coordination with marketing teams.
• Lead a small group of engineers by managing tasks, schedules, and project goals.
• Support new customer business development and the onboarding of new clients.

What we're looking for

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Optics sciences, or Physical Sciences is required.
• Bachelor's degree with 7+ years of experience, Master's with 5+ years, or PhD with 3+ years of experience is required.
• Knowledge of computational lithography and OPC software tools is required.
• Background in mask data preparation, physical design, lithography, and wafer processing steps is required.
• Previous experience with direct customer interfaces is required.
• Proficiency in Linux shells, software programming, and scripting is required.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills are required.
• Experience in project management, leadership, or team leading is preferred; lithography knowledge is also preferred.
