Senior Site Reliability Engineer

What you'll do

• Act as a Designated Responsible Individual in an on-call rotation to lead incident response and resolution for critical services.
• Execute and improve manual operations while designing automation to scale and streamline deployments across environments.
• Develop automated systems for monitoring, alerting, debugging, and deployment to reduce manual effort.
• Ensure all systems meet strict security, privacy, and accessibility standards when onboarding new technologies.
• Conduct postmortems and implement solutions to prevent the recurrence of technical issues.
• Partner with engineering and product teams to align reliability goals with customer needs.
• Improve system availability, observability, and performance through continuous technical growth and innovation.

What we're looking for

• A Master's degree plus 2 years of experience in software engineering, network engineering, or systems administration is required.
• A Bachelor's degree plus 4 years of experience in software engineering, network engineering, or systems administration is required.
• Candidates must possess an active TS clearance and be eligible to upgrade to a TS/SCI with polygraph.
• Candidates must maintain a TS/SCI (with polygraph) clearance for the duration of employment.
• Experience working with large-scale cloud or distributed systems is preferred.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as C#, Go, Java, or Python is preferred.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, testing, deployment, and reliability tooling is preferred.
