Senior Security Support Analyst

What you'll do

• Assess the security posture of insureds across various technologies, controls, and business environments.
• Investigate cyber insurance claims to identify root causes, attack vectors, and control gaps.
• Advise customers and security leaders on prioritized improvements for architecture, cloud security, and data protection.
• Translate threat intelligence and attacker behavior into detection tradecraft and actionable security recommendations.
• Partner with product teams to integrate security best practices into underwriting models and risk management tools.
• Track emerging regulations and industry trends to inform company products and internal processes.

What we're looking for

• 2–4 years of experience in security analysis, blue-team operations, penetration testing, red-team work, incident response, or cyber risk consulting.
• Expert understanding of network threat lifecycles, attack vectors, exploitation methods, and attacker TTPs.
• Practical knowledge of TCP/IP protocols, network analysis, log analysis, and network traffic capture analysis.
• Ability to investigate incidents and claims to determine root cause and recommend preventive or detective controls.
• Familiarity with NIST, ISO, HIPAA, and PCI frameworks and their practical application.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to provide clear recommendations to technical and executive audiences.
• Experience in cloud security, security architecture, data protection, or threat intelligence is preferred.
• Ability to translate complex technical evidence into actionable business recommendations for stakeholders and customers.
