Senior Security Analyst

What you'll do

• Analyze the security posture of insured entities and potential clients quickly and efficiently.
• Evaluate customer security programs, technologies, and business environments to recommend specific enhancements.
• Perform root cause analysis on cyber insurance claims to identify preventable security exposures.
• Triage security incidents and develop detection tradecraft based on threat intelligence.
• Provide actionable recommendations to customers for managing information security risks.
• Track emerging security practices to build internal processes and improve company products.
• Collaborate with the product team to codify security best practices into underwriting algorithms and risk models.

What we're looking for

• Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in security analysis, blue team defense, or red team penetration testing.
• Expert understanding of network threat lifecycles, attack vectors, and intrusion set tactics, techniques, and procedures.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP protocols, network analysis, and log/network traffic capture analysis.
• Familiarity with industry standard frameworks including NIST, ISO, HIPAA, and PCI.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills in both verbal and written formats.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
