Senior Sales Engineer, Healthcare Accounts

What you'll do

• Act as the primary technical point of contact and trusted advisor for enterprise customers during the sales process.
• Deliver compelling product demonstrations and white-boarding sessions to address specific cyber threats.
• Lead the planning, execution, and wrap-up of Proof-of-Concept (POC) and Production Evaluations.
• Design and champion complex security solutions using the full range of the Proofpoint portfolio.
• Provide technical feedback to Product Management and Engineering teams based on customer insights.
• Mentor new team members on products, sales processes, and relationship management.
• Develop training presentations and internal documentation for peers and account managers.
• Create and implement standardized processes to solve common challenges within the sales engineering organization.

What we're looking for

• Must have 6+ years of hands-on technical experience in roles such as Sales/Systems Engineer, Security Engineer, or senior product support.
• Experience working with large enterprise clients and organizations is required.
• Must possess expertise in Enterprise or Cloud Security, including SaaS platforms, messaging, data, network, endpoint, or NOC/SOC environments.
• Candidates must be based in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area or Houston.
• Ability to conduct large-scale assessments and evaluations while managing complex systems and deliverables is required.
• Must be comfortable presenting to both technical staff and C-suite executives.
• A Bachelor’s degree, advanced degree, or equivalent experience in a relevant field is required.
• CISSP or other relevant cybersecurity and cloud security certifications are valued.
