Senior Programs Director

What you'll do

• Manage P&L responsibilities for the strategy and execution of the Electromagnetic Warfare Systems Operating Unit.
• Ensure programs meet cost, schedule, and technical performance objectives within a matrix organizational environment.
• Establish milestones and monitor adherence to master plans while managing risks and resolving complex problems.
• Identify, allocate, and manage program resources including workforce planning and personnel development.
• Deliver executive briefings to internal leaders and external customers regarding program status and performance.
• Cultivate customer relationships to identify and develop new business opportunities for the operating area.
• Negotiate contracts, contract changes, specifications, operating budgets, and key terms and conditions.
• Drive predictable program performance by measuring and managing key performance metrics.

What we're looking for

• Must be a U.S. citizen with an active Secret clearance or DoE equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree with program management experience or Master's degree with experience.
• Experience managing Profit and Loss (P&L) for integrated program teams.
• Proven leadership in proposal development and executive-level briefing for internal and external stakeholders.
• Demonstrated success leading large teams in a matrix environment to achieve common goals.
• Experience leading and executing U.S. Government programs.
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
• Preferred: Master's degree in engineering or business, full life cycle execution experience, and competitive capture experience.
