As a Senior Program Manager / Project Manager - Medicaid Claims, you will join the team to drive Agile delivery of complex business process and technology initiatives across multiple lines of business. You will be responsible for managing end-to-end project lifecycles, identifying risks, performing root cause analysis, and implementing best practices to improve provider experience. The role involves translating goals into actionable plans while providing practice leadership and peer mentorship to other delivery practitioners. To succeed, you must possess expertise in Scrum methodologies, SAFe, and Waterfall, alongside skills in PowerPoint for executive presentations. You will navigate the complexities of healthcare claims processing, including adjudication, payment, and rework operations. Your work focuses on solving technical and operational challenges within the Medicaid program while supporting innovation initiatives, emerging technologies, and digital transformation efforts to ensure sustainable execution success.
Lead the end-to-end delivery of complex business process and technology initiatives for Medicaid programs.
Drive Agile project execution across multiple lines of business to ensure results are delivered on time and within scope.
Identify and resolve delivery obstacles while proactively removing risks to ensure successful execution.
Monitor performance metrics and use data to optimize processes and improve team productivity.
Translate high-level business goals into actionable plans and deliverables in coordination with technology partners.
Conduct root cause analysis and lead process improvements to ensure sustainable, repeatable success.
Provide practice leadership and mentorship to project managers to foster a culture of accountability.
What we're looking for
7+ years of experience in delivery management, program management, project management, and Agile practice leadership with expertise in Scrum methodologies.
5+ years of experience in healthcare claims processing, including adjudication, payment, and rework operations.
2+ years of experience with strong communication and facilitation skills, including developing executive-level PowerPoint presentations.
2+ years of experience demonstrating strong execution and delivery capabilities focused on planning, risk mitigation, and stakeholder engagement.
2+ years of proven success driving complex projects to completion on time and within defined scope.
2+ years of experience applying problem-solving skills with a demonstrated growth mindset.
2+ years of experience supporting innovation initiatives, emerging technologies, and digital transformation efforts.
2+ years of experience implementing Agile practices in cross-functional environments and working with Scrum, SAFe, and Waterfall methodologies.
Experience with Medicaid programs (preferred).
Agile (e.g., SM, RTE, SPC), PMP, or equivalent certifications (preferred).
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
