Senior Program Management Director – Division Program Execution Lead serves as a key leadership role within the Navigation, Intelligence, and Connectivity Division. This position is responsible for driving on-contract performance, strengthening the program management bench, and improving division-level predictability and discipline. The individual will lead program interventions, manage recovery efforts, and run focused control rooms to address issues regarding revenue, margin, schedule, and customer satisfaction. Daily responsibilities include utilizing metrics, Program Review Authority (PRA), and Internal Program Reporting System (IPRS) tools to ensure accountability. The role requires expertise in Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) and risk management within the defense and intelligence sectors. The candidate must possess a deep understanding of DoD requirements, programming, budgeting, and acquisition processes while providing executive-level summaries and coaching for high-potential program managers across multiple business units.
Drive on-contract performance for critical programs regarding revenue, margin, schedule, and customer satisfaction.
Lead program interventions and recovery efforts using control rooms, root cause corrective actions, and recovery cadences.
Partner with business unit leadership to manage high-priority "watchlist" programs and participate in major customer reviews.
Assess, develop, and advocate for high-potential program management talent across all business units.
Lead division-level metrics and program reviews to ensure accountability and early risk identification.
Standardize program management execution, metrics, and risk management processes across the entire division.
Serve as an early warning system for leadership by providing concise summaries of risks and recommended interventions.
What we're looking for
Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of relevant professional experience or a Master’s degree with 8+ years of relevant professional experience.
Significant experience leading complex DoD or intelligence community development and production programs with results in cost, schedule, and performance.
Experience leading program recovery or turnaround efforts including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Proven track record of building, leading, and developing high-performing program management teams.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to synthesize complex information into executive-level summaries.
Knowledge of DoD requirements, programming, budgeting, and acquisition processes.
Current/Active DoD Secret clearance (or DoE equivalent) with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI; current TS/SCI preferred.
