What you'll do

Build video experiences for Android mobile and Android TV using Kotlin and the Android SDK.
Debug and diagnose complex device issues by understanding Android internals.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent training and experience.
At least 5 years of relevant software engineering experience.
Experience building video experiences for Android mobile and Android TV using Kotlin and the Android SDK.
Proficiency in understanding Android internals to debug and diagnose device-specific issues.
Ability to deliver high-quality code including unit tests, integration tests, and telemetry for feature monitoring.
Strong communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional design, product, and service teams.
Experience maintaining large, modularized codebases and using performance profiling tools like Android Profiler.
Familiarity with streaming video technologies, including codecs and DRM.
