Senior Product Associate, Data Management

What you'll do

• Identify new product opportunities through user research, discovery, and market analysis.
• Write requirements, epics, and user stories to support the product development lifecycle.
• Maintain a prioritized backlog of testable stories and manage trade-offs with engineering partners.
• Use SQL and AI tools to investigate data, prototype ideas, and challenge solution designs.
• Evaluate and enrich metadata, modernize data modeling, and monitor data health.
• Analyze and track product metrics including work to time, cost, and quality targets.
• Validate features early using prototypes, spikes, and pilots to reduce delivery risk.
• Track adoption, outcomes, and value post-launch while triaging user feedback.

What we're looking for

• 3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area.
• Proficient knowledge of the product development life cycle, including discovery and requirements definition.
• Strong product management fundamentals including prioritization, road-mapping, backlog management, and delivery.
• Depth in data management, governance, and analytics, such as metadata, data quality, classification, or stewardship.
• Working SQL skills and an understanding of data system fundamentals like schemas, data models, and pipelines.
• Experience in a human-centered product development process, including user research and usability testing.
• Developing knowledge of data analytics and data literacy.
• Regular use of agentic tools like Claude, Codex, or Copilot to research, analyze, write, and prototype.
• Experience with data modeling, data catalogs, lineage, or metadata platforms (preferred).
• Experience building AI-powered products in a regulated environment (preferred).
• Experience in financial services or another regulated industry (preferred).
