Data Product Manager, Associate

What you'll do

• Conduct user discovery and stakeholder interviews to gather business requirements and identify product opportunities.
• Write requirements, epics, and user stories to support the product development lifecycle.
• Maintain a transparent, prioritized backlog and coordinate the delivery of data products.
• Partner with engineering and AI/ML teams to onboard new data sources and transform them into usable offerings.
• Establish and maintain data governance, quality, and lifecycle management practices for talent data.
• Own the development of data catalogs, metadata, glossaries, and lineage capabilities for specific datasets.
• Analyze and track product metrics including work-to-time, cost, and quality targets.
• Drive continuous improvement of data products using stakeholder feedback and usage insights.

What we're looking for

• 2+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area.
• Proficient knowledge of the product development life cycle.
• Experience in product life cycle activities including discovery and requirements definition.
• Developing knowledge of data analytics and data management.
• Ability to translate business needs into epics, features, and user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
• Proficiency in SQL for data testing, validation, and ad-hoc analysis.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills to translate technical capabilities into business outcomes.
• Understanding of privacy and compliance considerations related to HR data (preferred).
