Associate Data Product Manager

What you'll do

• Conduct user research and stakeholder interviews to identify product opportunities and gather business requirements.
• Translate business needs into detailed epics, user stories, and prioritized backlogs with clear acceptance criteria.
• Partner with engineering and AI/ML teams to deliver high-quality, governed datasets for talent management.
• Manage the onboarding of new data sources and transform them into performant, fit-for-purpose products.
• Maintain data cataloging, metadata, and lineage capabilities for recruitment and offboarding datasets.
• Establish and maintain data governance, quality, and lifecycle management practices to ensure firmwide compliance.
• Analyze and track product metrics including work time, cost, and quality across the development lifecycle.
• Drive continuous improvement of data products based on stakeholder feedback and usage insights.

What we're looking for

• 2+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area.
• Proficient knowledge of the product development life cycle.
• Experience in product life cycle activities including discovery and requirements definition.
• Developing knowledge of data analytics and data management.
• Ability to translate business needs into epics, features, and user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
• Proficiency in SQL for data testing, validation, and ad-hoc analysis.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills to translate technical capabilities into business outcomes.
• Experience with data onboarding, metadata management, governance, and compliance in regulated environments (preferred).
