Senior Principal Systems Development Engineer

What you'll do

• Evaluate custom solution requests to assess technical feasibility and identify potential project risks.
• Coordinate with downstream engineering teams to schedule builds and plan validation activities.
• Manage multiple simultaneous projects while prioritizing tasks and escalating issues as needed.
• Determine material requirements and secure necessary resources for successful program execution.
• Deliver customized server solutions by collaborating with global sales and engineering stakeholders.
• Own end-to-end architectures and complex integration strategies for high-impact initiatives.
• Prototype solutions and validate patterns to ensure non-functional requirements are met at scale.

• Strong, broad engineering knowledge at the hardware level with a solid understanding of full system architecture.
• Proven ability to multitask and manage multiple fast-paced projects with short development cycles.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively and find solutions outside of conventional approaches.
• Effective networking and communication skills to engage and collaborate across multiple teams and stakeholders.
• Experience with server product lines and/or previous work on platform development teams (preferred).
• Background working directly with customers and translating their needs into actionable engineering plans (preferred).
