What you'll do

  • Lead day-to-day engineering and operations of Red Hat and other Linux systems in a classified, air-gapped environment.
  • Configure, patch, and monitor network devices including Palo Alto firewalls, Cisco switches, Panorama, and ClearPass.
  • Troubleshoot enclave network and security issues while managing security updates, licenses, and support tickets.
  • Support vulnerability management by reviewing scans, implementing patches, and performing POA&M mitigation.
  • Drive hardening and compliance efforts through STIG reviews to meet NIST and DoD requirements.
  • Develop and maintain engineering documentation for system designs, configurations, and operational procedures.

What we're looking for

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must currently possess an active Top Secret security clearance.
  • Must be able to obtain a Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
  • Must have a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree.
  • Must have 8+ years of related experience.
  • Must be DoD 8140 / 8570.01-M compliant, such as Security+ or equivalent.
  • Must have hands-on experience with Red Hat and other Linux operating systems.
  • Must have hands-on experience with O&M of Palo Alto firewalls, Cisco switches, Panorama, and ClearPass.
