What you'll do

Perform high-level systems design, development, and integration throughout the entire system life cycle.
Conduct vulnerability assessments using STIGs/SCAP to reduce attack surfaces for operating systems and network equipment.
Manage complex infrastructure including the installation, configuration, and maintenance of OS, applications, and management tools.
Create custom packages, tools, and scripts to automate the installation and configuration of software.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues and provide technical support for field operations.
Research current CVEs and create documentation regarding security patches for hardware and software.
Configure routing protocols on physical and virtual switches, firewalls, and routers in lab environments.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to less experienced professionals as a team lead.

What we're looking for

US Citizenship is required.
Bachelor's degree in a related IT field or equivalent experience is required.
8+ years of related experience are required.
Security+ CE or 8140 equivalent certification is required.
Experience with Unix, Linux, and Oracle Solaris is required.
Experience with Cisco ASA, switching, routing, and configuration is required.
Experience managing GitLab repositories, FIPS 140-2, Common Criteria, JSIG, and STIG processes is required.
Active or previously held Secret clearance is preferred.
