As a Senior Principal Product Engineer within the Product Engineering team, you will guide the manufacturability of pioneering designs across foundry and assembly processes while owning the manufacturing flow for ATE and SLT. You will collaborate with Architecture, SoC Design, Validation, Test, System, Software, and Quality teams to manage technical pre-silicon and post-silicon operations. Your daily work involves managing product requirements, ensuring NPI/HVM readiness, conducting facility audits, and driving yield improvement, silicon characterization, and electrical failure analysis. You will address complex challenges in 2.5D/3DIC and sub-3nm nodes while focusing on power, performance, cost, and manufacturability. The role requires expertise in device physics, digital/mixed-signal design, and ATE and SLT test concepts including Scan, BIST, Sensors, and functional testing. You will leverage deep knowledge of CPU, SoC, and GPU silicon bring-up to ensure reliable product delivery.
Guide manufacturability for pioneering designs across foundry, assembly, and advanced nodes like 2.5D/3DIC.
Manage technical pre-silicon and post-silicon operations in alignment with design, software, and validation teams.
Serve as the primary point of contact for product engineering during multi-functional collaboration phases.
Coordinate manufacturing operations with foundries, OSATs, and ASIC vendors to ensure NPI/HVM readiness.
Conduct audits of manufacturing facilities alongside cross-functional teams.
Own post-silicon manufacturing test flows, yield improvement, and silicon/package reliability qualification.
Perform PVTF characterization and electrical failure analysis on ATE and SLT platforms.
Drive ATE to system correlation for sensors, voltage, and frequency across various conditions.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
Minimum 16 years of experience in product engineering, including manufacturing test, yield improvement, silicon characterization, and reliability qualification.
Strong background in CPU, SoC, or GPU silicon bring-up and product engineering.
Existing relationships with Foundries, OSATs, and ASIC vendors.
Broad expertise in ATE and SLT test concepts, characterizations, and correlation methodologies.
Strong understanding of device physics, digital/mixed-signal design, and foundry/assembly processes.
Knowledge of CPU/GPU/SoC power and performance dependencies.
Excellent interpersonal skills and initiative to engage with cross-functional teams.
