As a SENIOR POWER BI DEVELOPER, you will join the Analytics and Business Intelligence team to serve as the organization's Power BI subject matter expert. The role requires expertise in Power BI, SQL, and potentially SAP ERP systems or platforms like Microsoft Fabric and Snowflake. You will also mentor team members and establish best practices for self-service analytics to support critical financial and operational decision-making processes within the company.

What you'll do

  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level Power BI dashboards, reports, and semantic models for financial and operational decision-making.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable reporting solutions and high-performing data models.
  • Develop advanced DAX calculations and Power Query transformations to ensure reporting accuracy and performance.
  • Write, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries to improve data pipeline efficiency and accessibility.
  • Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends and provide actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for Power BI by establishing best practices and providing technical guidance.
  • Mentor team members on dashboard design, report development, and Power BI standards.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
  • 5-7 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Reporting, Data Analytics, or Power BI development.
  • Proven experience designing and developing end-to-end Power BI reporting solutions.
  • Advanced expertise in Power BI including DAX, semantic data modeling, and performance optimization.
  • Strong SQL development and query optimization skills with experience in relational databases.
  • Experience working with financial and operational data in a corporate environment.
  • Microsoft Power BI Certification (PL-300) (preferred).
  • Exposure to SAP ERP systems, Microsoft Fabric, Azure, or Snowflake (preferred).
