Senior PLM Software Engineer, Manufacturing Systems

What you'll do

• Build and own integrations to move CAM and CAI data from Teamcenter to the shop floor.
• Develop custom Teamcenter extensions using ITK, SOA, and BMIDE to support complex manufacturing workflows.
• Integrate CAI and metrology systems to feed measured results back into the digital thread as structured data.
• Automate EBOM to MBOM propagation and model-based definition data flow into downstream systems.
• Expose manufacturing data through APIs to unblock partner teams in scheduling and applied AI.
• Translate production workflows from manufacturing engineers and factory operators into software requirements.
• Write production-quality code with comprehensive tests and participate in architectural discussions.
• Deploy and operate systems in factory environments, including edge compute clusters and OT networks.

What we're looking for

• 8+ years of experience in a software engineering role building production systems.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Teamcenter development using ITK, SOA, C++, Java, BMIDE, and Active Workspace.
• Demonstrated experience building custom Teamcenter handlers, services, and integrations.
• Working knowledge of manufacturing data domains including CAM, CAI, CMM, NC programming, and EBOM/MBOM relationships.
• Experience authoring and developing NX Open programs to automate NX/Design Center workflows.
• Technical fluency in modern software architectures, APIs, distributed systems, CI/CD, and cloud or edge infrastructure.
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance.
