As an Application Software Engineer, Manufacturing Systems, you will join the application software team to develop mission-critical systems that accelerate launch vehicle production and flight while supporting the growth of a global satellite network. You will own all aspects of software engineering and product development, including building prototypes to prove design concepts, deep diving into user problems to create efficient solutions, and participating in architecture and code reviews. The role requires full stack development experience and proficiency in languages such as Python, C#.NET, Go, Scala, or Java. Technical skills include experience with single page web applications using Angular or React, database management with PostgreSQL or SQL Server, and infrastructure tools like Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Ansible. You will work on manufacturing software for high-throughput factories and systems managing concurrent data streams from numerous assets.

What you'll do

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, or scientific discipline, or 2+ years of professional software experience.
Experience in full stack development.
Programming experience in Python, C#.NET, Go, Scala, Java, or similar object-oriented languages (preferred).
Experience with version control, continuous integration, and continuous delivery concepts (preferred).
Expertise in designing software systems, testing, deployment, monitoring, and profiling application performance (preferred).
Experience with build systems, package management tools, and UNIX-like operating systems (preferred).
Experience with in-stream data processing, Docker, Kubernetes, front-end frameworks, or database technologies (preferred).
Must be a U.S. citizen, national, lawful permanent resident, or eligible for required export control authorizations.
