What you'll do

Design, develop, test, and maintain cloud-native microservices for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
Build highly available, scalable, and fault-tolerant distributed systems.
Write high-quality, maintainable code while participating in peer code reviews.
Troubleshoot production issues and participate in on-call rotations to ensure service reliability.
Analyze system performance and implement improvements for scalability and operational excellence.
Automate manual processes to reduce operational toil and improve monitoring/alerting.
Mentor interns and junior engineers on day-to-day engineering practices.

What we're looking for

Applicants must be able to read, write, and speak English.
Candidates must have 3 to 5+ years of experience.
Strong programming skills are required in Java, Go, C++, Python, or similar languages.
Experience is required in distributed systems, REST APIs, and microservices.
Knowledge of concurrency, multithreading, asynchronous programming, Linux systems, and networking fundamentals is required.
Experience with relational/NoSQL databases and cloud computing concepts is required.
Proficiency with Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and modern development practices is required.
Identity and Access Management skills are required.
