JOB TITLE: Senior Platform Software Engineer The Senior Platform Software Engineer joins the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure team to build and operate massive-scale, integrated cloud services within a distributed, multi-tenant environment. This role focuses on designing, developing, and troubleshooting scalable, customer-facing cloud services and high-performance API services that secure and protect API traffic. Key responsibilities include translating business requirements into technical specifications, automating tasks for continuous delivery, and maintaining both development and production infrastructure. The successful candidate will utilize back end programming languages, distributed systems, software design and development, and system design skills. Additionally, the role requires Linux fundamentals to ensure the delivery of secure, scalable, and highly available services. What you'll do

Translate business requirements into technical specifications for OCI product leaders and service teams.
Design, develop, and troubleshoot scalable, operationally focused, customer-facing cloud services.

Maintain both development and production infrastructure to ensure operational excellence.
Provide technical guidance and feedback to leadership, team members, and other stakeholders.
Contribute to product roadmaps by identifying areas of need and scoping work with stakeholders.
Mentor and coach junior team members in engineering best practices.

What we're looking for
