What you'll do

Design and implement full-stack services, APIs, and tools to improve the developer experience for OCI teams.
Deliver features end-to-end including requirements gathering, technical design, implementation, automated testing, and deployment.
Translate internal developer pain points into reliable, scalable platform capabilities through collaboration with engineering teams.
Participate in code and design reviews while contributing to best practices in CI/CD, security, and observability.
Diagnose and resolve production issues while participating in on-call rotations and incident response.
Produce and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and operational playbooks for internal systems.
Utilize AI-assisted tools and techniques to accelerate prototyping, testing, refactoring, and development workflows.
Provide technical leadership to other software developers and mentor team members on engineering standards.

What we're looking for

BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
5-6+ years of professional software development experience.
Proficiency in Java and experience building REST and/or gRPC services.
Experience building full-stack software including backend services and user-facing tools or web applications.
Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems fundamentals.
Working knowledge of RDBMS and/or NoSQL data stores.
Experience with modern engineering practices including source control, code review, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
Practical experience using AI-assisted tools to improve developer productivity and software quality.
