What you'll do

  • Design and implement full-stack services, APIs, and tools to improve the developer experience for OCI software teams.
  • Deliver features end-to-end including requirements clarification, technical design, implementation, automated testing, and deployment.
  • Partner with engineering teams to identify developer pain points and build scalable internal platform capabilities.
  • Participate in code and design reviews to enforce best practices for CI/CD, observability, and security.
  • Diagnose and resolve production issues while participating in on-call rotations and incident response.
  • Produce and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and operational playbooks.
  • Use AI-assisted techniques to accelerate prototyping, improve test coverage, and enhance software quality.
  • Apply an AI-native mindset to generate code suggestions and rethink cloud infrastructure workflows.

What we're looking for

  • BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5-6+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Proficiency in Java and experience building REST and/or gRPC services.
  • Experience building full-stack software, including backend services and user-facing tools or web applications.
  • Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems fundamentals.
  • Working knowledge of data stores, including RDBMS and/or NoSQL systems.
  • Experience with modern engineering practices, including source control, code review, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills.
