What you'll do

Design, build, and test performant frontend web applications and scalable backend web services.
Gather requirements and provide technical consultation to internal customers regarding their specific processes and needs.
Maintain services and tools to ensure high reliability, stability, and quality of service.
Mentor colleagues through code reviews and pairing sessions to solve difficult technical problems.
Establish guidelines for adopting agentic development to improve the software development lifecycle.
Manage the health of the codebase by focusing on deployment throughput and production quality.

What we're looking for

8+ years of experience delivering reliable and scalable web services and web applications.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience in a related field.
Expert knowledge of TypeScript and the Node.js ecosystem.
In-depth understanding of at least one network systems level programming language such as Go, Java, C++, or Rust.
Experience with design and development of distributed web services, modular software design, data structures, and algorithms.
In-depth understanding of concurrency, locking, and multi-threading.
Experience with SQL and relational databases as well as unstructured non-relational databases.
Familiarity with Linux fundamentals, including systemd administration and debugging.
