What you'll do

Create test systems for development, qualification, verification, and validation purposes.
Design and layout PCBs using Altium software.
Interpret schematics and apply best practices for various design types.
Manage ECAD libraries and maintain library management systems.
Implement high-speed digital interfaces and controlled impedance routing for USB, PCIe, and Ethernet.
Apply signal and power integrity rules to influence layout decisions.
Coordinate with vendors on Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) requirements.
Execute high-density routing for BGA fanout and complex stackups exceeding 10 layers.

What we're looking for

7+ years of experience with PCB Layout.
5+ years of experience with Altium.
Ability to read and interpret schematics and apply best practices for each design.
Solid understanding of PCB fabrication and assembly processes, limitations, design rules, and best practices.
Experience with ECAD libraries and library management.
Familiarity with basic signal and power integrity rules.
Experience with high speed digital interfaces and controlled impedance routing requirements like USB, PCIe, and Ethernet.
Eligible for security clearance.
CID, CID++, and/or PCEA-CPCD certification (preferred).
Experience with MIL-STD and IPC standards (preferred).
Experience with high density routing and high speed routing (preferred).
Experience with power distribution networks, signal integrity analyzers, and vendor DFM/DFA (preferred).
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or similar (preferred).
