What you'll do

Own the full test lifecycle from initial requirement definition and planning through development, deployment, and long-term production sustainment.
Build new test stations from the ground up including electrical, software, or mechanical design components.
Define test requirements by collaborating with design engineers to ensure all systems are tested to stringent standards.
Author detailed test plans, build sequences, and acceptance criteria for both early-stage products and established production lines.
Resolve complex electrical issues and perform root cause analysis on non-conforming hardware to determine corrective actions.
Develop and maintain a library of common failure modes with troubleshooting guides for the technician team.
Create clear work instructions in the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and train technicians on equipment usage.
Optimize test strategies to improve automation, consistency, and cycle time while maintaining high product quality.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics, Computer, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
8+ years of relevant industry experience in manufacturing test and product sustainment.
Experience spanning test development, requirements definition, plan creation, and station building.
Familiarity with Linux, Ubuntu, LabVIEW, and NixOS.
Experience with contract manufacturers for testing PCBA and electronic assemblies.
Proficiency with electronics test equipment like oscilloscopes, power supplies, and data acquisition sensors.
Ability to develop test systems from scratch with expertise in software, electrical, or mechanical design.
Eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
