Senior Manufacturing Test Engineer

What you'll do

• Maintain ownership of production test flow and provide hands-on troubleshooting for complex electrical issues.
• Manage test capabilities across the manufacturing value stream from system-level checkouts to component-level validation.
• Improve and sustain test systems to increase automation, consistency, cycle time, and test coverage.
• Develop and update test work instructions in the MES and train technicians on equipment usage.
• Determine root causes of product failures and recommend appropriate corrective actions (RCCA).
• Analyze test data and provide detailed reports to identify defects and areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with design engineers to provide feedback and recommendations for product enhancements based on test outcomes.
• Maintain and calibrate test equipment to ensure precision and reliability during production.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics, Computer, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
• 8+ years of relevant industry experience with emphasis on manufacturing test and product sustainment.
• Familiarity with Linux, Ubuntu, Python, and NixOS.
• Familiarity with electronics test equipment such as power supplies, oscilloscopes, function generators, and spectrum analyzers.
• Experience with computer hardware communication protocols including USB, Ethernet, RS232, RS485, PCIe, HDMI, and CAN.
• Experience with MES system integration and familiarity with PLM, MES, and TES systems.
• Experience with projects involving the integration of electrical, mechanical, and software/firmware systems.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Familiarity with Python, LabVIEW, and/or MATLAB for data parsing and visualization (preferred).
• Experience with test automation, PCBA design, and mechanical design (preferred).
• Experience with contract manufacturers and ESS-related testing (preferred).
• Active Security Clearance (preferred).
