What you'll do

Design, commission, and optimize assembly lines, work cells, and floor layouts for hypersonic missile programs.
Collaborate with design engineers to implement Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles.
Develop and scale manufacturing processes for exotic materials, advanced composites, and thermal protection systems.
Architect, procure, and qualify custom assembly tooling, fixtures, and automated equipment to increase production throughput.
Lead the transition of hardware from initial prototype stages into high-rate manufacturing environments.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex engineering and production anomalies on the manufacturing floor.
Create and maintain technical standards including work instructions, manufacturing bills of materials (MBOMs), and quality documentation.

What we're looking for

Must have a B.S. or M.S. in Mechanical, Aerospace, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related STEM field.
Must have at least 8 years of experience in manufacturing or a related field.
Must be a U.S. Person to access export-controlled information and facilities.
Must be eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Security clearance.
Must have hands-on experience with high-temperature materials like Carbon-Carbon, CMCs, or ablatives.
Must have experience leading the qualification of aerospace-grade materials through thermal, mechanical, and environmental testing.
Must have experience developing and scaling manufacturing processes for thermal protection systems (TPS).
Willingness to travel periodically less than 20% of the time to support global operations.
