The Senior Manager - Software Development Engineering leads a team of technical and functional colleagues responsible for SAP application delivery and production support for PBM Billing and Finance capabilities. This role involves managing the migration of complex billing and finance processes from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA while overseeing daily production operations for accounts receivable, financial posting, and reporting. Key responsibilities include guiding solution designs across SAP SD and FI/CO integration, overseeing custom ABAP development, and managing the full software development life cycle. The position requires expertise in batch processing, data reconciliation, and maintaining SOX, SOC, and HIPAA compliance. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in SAP Billing, Sales and Distribution, and Finance processes, utilizing tools like SAP Fiori, OData services, HANA, SLT, and EDI to solve critical business problems.
Lead and develop a team of technical and functional colleagues supporting SAP Billing and Finance applications.
Own delivery and production support for billing, accounts receivable, financial posting, and related reporting processes.
Lead the migration of complex billing and finance processes from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA.
Shape application roadmaps, delivery priorities, resource plans, and funding needs for enterprise transformation.
Guide solution design for SAP SD and FI/CO integration, custom ABAP development, and downstream reporting.
Oversee the software development life cycle from requirements and design reviews through deployment and post-production validation.
Maintain production operations by overseeing root-cause analysis, problem management, and service metrics.
Ensure adherence to SOX, SOC, HIPAA, and other security, privacy, and audit-evidence requirements.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of eight (8) years of progressive experience in SAP application delivery, development, configuration, integration, or production support.
Experience leading technical and functional teams, including work prioritization, coaching, performance management, resource planning, and colleague development.
Deep experience with SAP Billing, Sales and Distribution, or Finance processes, with demonstrated knowledge of integration between SD and FI/CO.
Experience leading projects through requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, cutover, and production stabilization.
Strong understanding of software engineering, system integration, batch and interface processing, data reconciliation, change management, and production support practices.
Experience leading an SAP ECC-to-S/4HANA transformation, Finance modernization, or comparable large-scale migration (preferred).
Working knowledge of ABAP, SAP Fiori, OData services, HANA, SLT, Central Finance, ArchiveLink, EDI, and enterprise reporting solutions (preferred).
