Senior Manager, Software Development Engineering, Claims Adjudication

What you'll do

• Manage assigned functional areas through detailed planning of projects, resources, and skillset mapping.
• Provide technical guidance and oversight to ensure project delivery meets quality, budget, and schedule requirements.
• Lead the development and delivery of innovative AI tools aligned with organizational strategic goals.
• Perform performance assessments and provide career development feedback for both internal staff and vendor resources.
• Manage onsite and offshore vendor relationships and participate in recruitment and selection processes.
• Consult with business and IT stakeholders to ensure project expectations are met and resolve roadblocks.
• Develop service level agreements and improve processes related to service delivery.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of information technology experience including leadership and development management in core development and delivery areas.
• 7+ years of experience in IT principles, development methodologies, and use of platforms/applications or software products.
• 7+ years of experience mentoring and supervising full-time employees and managing onsite and offshore vendor relationships.
• 5+ years of experience handling customer expectations and relationship building.
• 5+ years of experience leading large or multiple application teams to deliver projects and initiatives effectively.
• 5+ years of technology development (Design, Coding, and Testing) experience in IBMi technology.
• Health Care and PBM background (preferred); IBMi/AS400 Series experience (preferred).
