What you'll do

  • Lead, coach, and grow a high-performing team of software engineers while building an inclusive engineering culture.
  • Own delivery for application deployment capabilities from roadmap planning and technical design through implementation and operation.
  • Partner with product managers and architects to translate customer needs into clear priorities and execution plans.
  • Ensure services are designed with safety, reliability, isolation, auditability, and observability by default.
  • Guide the technical direction for AI-assisted engineering workflows, ensuring sound controls and governance.
  • Use operational signals and customer feedback to improve developer experience, availability, and performance.
  • Build organizational capability through hiring, talent development, and technical mentorship.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8+ years of professional software development experience.
  • 3+ years of engineering management or technical leadership experience.
  • Strong programming skills in one or more modern languages such as Java, Go, C++, C#, or Python.
  • Experience leading teams that design, build, and operate scalable, highly available distributed systems, platform services, or developer tools.
  • Solid understanding of cloud-native systems, including containers, orchestration, CI/CD, infrastructure automation, or release engineering concepts.
  • Demonstrated people leadership skills to hire, develop talent, and manage execution.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to build alignment across engineering, product, and senior stakeholders.
