What you'll do

Manage a team of software engineers including hiring, performance management, and career development.
Lead the development of reusable frameworks, SDKs, and AI-native tools for enterprise-wide adoption.
Drive the adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery speed.
Set and scale operating practices for SDLC automation and AI-assisted engineering across multiple teams.
Contribute hands-on as a technical lead by writing and reviewing production code in Java, JavaScript, or Python.
Partner with stakeholders to define and prioritize the component roadmap based on adoption needs.
Identify opportunities to improve operational stability and automate the remediation of recurring issues.
Establish measurable expectations for throughput, defect reduction, and reliability across engineering projects.

What we're looking for

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
Experience leading and managing engineering teams, including hiring, performance management, and career development.
Hands-on experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
Advanced skills in Python.
Proficiency in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle and agile methodologies.
Practical cloud-native experience.
Demonstrated experience with AI-assisted software development tools and coaching engineers on validating AI outputs.
Experience leading multi-team adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools and defining governance.
Advanced skills in Java and JavaScript (preferred).
Experience building SDKs, frameworks, or developer platforms that other engineering teams consume (preferred).
Experience working with stakeholders to define and prioritize a platform component roadmap (preferred).
Track record of growing engineers’ careers and AI-assisted development skills (preferred).
