Senior Manager of Software Engineering

What you'll do

• Own and champion non-functional requirements for applications within the liquidity risk team.
• Drive the adoption of site reliability practices and metrics across the organization.
• Implement enterprise-authorized AI capabilities to improve reliability operations and customer experience.
• Establish standards for AI-assisted reliability workflows, ensuring traceability, security, and auditability.
• Conduct blameless, data-driven post-mortems and regular team debriefs to facilitate learning.
• Provide personalized coaching and talent development for entry to mid-level team members.
• Manage and solve complex technological issues at a firmwide level.
• Ensure teams document and share knowledge through internal forums and communities of practice.

What we're looking for

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
• Advanced proficiency in site reliability culture and principles with the ability to implement them across teams.
• Experience leading teams in the safe use of enterprise-authorized AI capabilities for reliability engineering workflows.
• Ability to set and reinforce organization-level practices for reviewing AI-assisted recommendations while maintaining security and auditability.
• Experience leading technologists to manage and solve complex technological issues at a firmwide level.
• Experience hiring, developing, and recognizing talent.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Java Spring Boot, or .Net.
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools, container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker), and networking technologies.
• Ability to code and demonstrate data fluency (preferred).
