Senior Manager, MQ and ACE Engineering leads the strategy, architecture, delivery, and continuous evolution of enterprise messaging and integration platforms. The role requires deep expertise in IBM MQ and IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) or IBM Integration Bus (IIB). Candidates should possess skills in high-availability architectures, disaster recovery, CI/CD, and DevOps automation. Preferred technical competencies include experience with Kafka, Kubernetes, OpenShift, API management, Infrastructure as Code, and hybrid cloud environments across platforms like Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.

What we're looking for
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or equivalent work experience (High School Diploma/GED plus 4 years of relevant experience).
7+ years supporting enterprise integration, middleware, messaging, or platform engineering environments within large-scale organizations.
5+ years leading engineering, platform, infrastructure, or technology teams with accountability for delivery, operations, and talent development.
5+ years administering, architecting, and optimizing IBM MQ environments, including performance tuning, resiliency, troubleshooting, and operational support.
4+ years designing, developing, and supporting IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) or IBM Integration Bus (IIB) solutions across complex enterprise integration landscapes.
3+ years implementing high-availability architectures, disaster recovery capabilities, DevOps automation, CI/CD practices, and hybrid or cloud-based integration platforms.
Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud and hybrid integration environments (preferred).
Knowledge of Kafka, IBM Event Streams, API management, Kubernetes, OpenShift, or container-based architectures; familiarity with Agile, SAFe, IaC, and technical certifications (preferred).
