As a Principal Member of Technical Staff, the R&D Engineer Software 5 will join the team to build the next generation of the ValueOps Financial Intelligence Solution. You will develop APIs, microservices, data pipelines, and AI orchestration services using Java, Spring Boot, Kubernetes, and distributed systems. The work requires building cloud-native applications on AWS, Azure, GCP, or VMware Cloud Foundation while solving complex business problems through modern AI technologies.

What you'll do

Design and develop enterprise-scale cloud-native services supporting Unified Hybrid FinOps.
Build AI-powered capabilities using LLMs, Agentic AI, MCP, RAG, and enterprise knowledge platforms.
Develop intelligent services for cloud cost optimization, tokenomics, capacity forecasting, and budget recommendations.
Build APIs, microservices, data pipelines, and AI orchestration services.
Translate business requirements from Product Management into scalable technical solutions.
Improve engineering productivity by collaborating with DevOps teams on AI-assisted software development.
Mentor engineers on modern AI engineering practices and software architecture.

What we're looking for

8+ years of experience developing enterprise SaaS applications.
Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, Kubernetes, and distributed systems.
Experience with Generative AI, AI Agents, LLM integration, Prompt Engineering, MCP, and RAG.
Experience building cloud-native applications on AWS, Azure, GCP, or VMware Cloud Foundation.
Strong understanding of APIs, microservices, event-driven architectures, and DevOps.
Excellent collaboration and problem-solving skills.
