What you'll do

  • Manage multi-site datacenter operations to ensure 24/7 availability and performance of physical and virtual server environments.
  • Develop and enforce operational procedures for server platforms using automation and a combination of staff resources.
  • Oversee disaster recovery, backup processes, and business continuity plans across all infrastructure sites.
  • Enforce security controls and maintain compliance with internal policies and industry regulations like SOC, ISO, and NIST.
  • Manage vendor relationships, contract negotiations, and performance monitoring for hardware, software, and managed services.
  • Execute financial management including budget planning, cost optimization, and FinOps practices for datacenter and cloud resources.
  • Develop long-term modernization strategies involving cloud migrations, platform upgrades, and infrastructure roadmap planning.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a distributed team of technical professionals to ensure operational excellence and growth.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology or Computer Science.
  • 12+ years of experience in IT infrastructure roles.
  • 5+ years of experience managing large-scale datacenter or cloud infrastructure operations.
  • Expertise in physical and virtual server infrastructure, enterprise operating systems (Windows, RHEL), SAN storage, and virtualization (VMware, Cisco UCS).
  • Experience with disaster recovery, backup processes, business continuity, and IT security/compliance frameworks like NIST, PCI, or SOX.
  • Proven experience in budget planning, cost optimization, and managing vendor contracts for hardware, software, and managed services.
  • Strong leadership skills to manage technical teams, including managers of managers, and communicate with non-technical stakeholders.
  • Preferred certifications include ITIL, SAFE, PMP, or TBM Practitioner.
