Senior Manager, Datacenter - Server Ops

What you'll do

• Oversee multi-site datacenter operations to ensure 24/7 availability and performance of physical and virtual server environments.
• Develop and enforce operational procedures for server and virtualization platforms using automation and support staff.
• Monitor infrastructure health, environmental conditions, and capacity planning to prevent downtime and protect hardware.
• Manage disaster recovery capabilities, backup processes, and business continuity plans across all sites.
• Enforce security controls and compliance with internal policies and industry regulations like SOC, ISO, and NIST.
• Lead vendor selection, contract negotiations, and management of third-party managed service engagements.
• Manage budgets, capacity forecasting, and FinOps practices to optimize costs for datacenter and cloud services.
• Shape long-term hosting strategies and advise on modernization efforts including cloud migrations and platform upgrades.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or Computer Science.
• 12+ years in IT infrastructure roles.
• 5+ years in management of large-scale datacenter or cloud infrastructure operations.
• Demonstrated success overseeing multi-site datacenter operations.
• Deep understanding of physical and virtual server infrastructure, enterprise operating systems, SAN, networking, and virtualization.
• Knowledge of disaster recovery, backup, business continuity, and IT security/compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, PCI, SOX).
• Experience in budget planning, cost management, and managing vendor/partner contracts.
• Master’s degree in a relevant field (preferred).
• Professional certifications such as ITIL, SAFE, PMP, or TBM Practitioner (preferred).
• Experience with datacenter consolidations, migrations, or implementing automation/orchestration tools (preferred).
