What you'll do

Lead a software engineering team in the design, development, testing, and delivery of cloud infrastructure components.
Apply software architecture principles to ensure all development activities align with established design specifications and standards.
Oversee enhancements to existing architectures to improve scalability, maintainability, and reliability.
Develop and contribute to short-, medium-, and long-term plans that support organizational and strategic objectives.
Partner with senior management and cross-functional stakeholders to align priorities and resolve complex engineering challenges.
Recruit, coach, and develop engineers while fostering a culture of accountability and engineering excellence.
Drive product definition and contribute to the long-term strategy for next-generation Identity capabilities.

What we're looking for

BS in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
10+ years of professional software engineering experience, including leading engineering teams or major technical initiatives.
Proven ability to lead delivery of backend services, platform capabilities, infrastructure, and workflow automation.
Strong system design and architecture skills including data modeling, API design, and distributed systems.
Experience with cloud-native development and operations; experience with OCI, AWS, Azure, or GCP is relevant.
Strong understanding of IAM, authorization, secure service-to-service communication, and secure software development practices.
Experience building or supporting developer tooling, test automation, release and deployment tooling, or observability solutions.
Proficiency in Java and Python; familiarity with Go, C#, or other enterprise software development languages is a plus (preferred).
