Senior Manager, Core Infrastructure Engineering

What you'll do

• Manage the delivery of scalable, high-performance distributed systems across multiple engineering teams.
• Define and monitor performance, availability, and reliability KPIs through telemetry and dashboards.
• Oversee infrastructure automation using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automated change management processes.
• Drive proactive incident management, operational readiness, and on-call coverage for cloud services.
• Ensure security compliance, encryption, and access management across multi-tenant environments.
• Lead the development of tools to optimize performance and load testing for hyperscale workloads.
• Manage talent planning, coaching, and career development for the engineering organization.

What we're looking for

• Applicants must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Candidates must have at least 10 years of experience.
• Experience managing teams delivering scalable, resilient distributed systems is required.
• Expertise in establishing engineering standards for scalability, performance, SLOs, observability, and fault tolerance is required.
• Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC), automation, and change management is required.
• Experience overseeing security controls, encryption, access management, and compliance for multi-tenant environments is required.
• Ability to manage large-scale initiatives including project planning, resource allocation, and budget management is required.
• Proven ability to lead performance management, coaching, and career development for engineering teams is required.
