Senior Manager, Application Software Engineering

What you'll do

• Drive the design, development, and delivery of scalable, reliable software services and frameworks.
• Manage software development tasks for distributed systems, operating systems, and databases according to design specifications.
• Provide technical leadership on architecture, scalability, performance, and reliability for the Health and AI platform.
• Establish engineering best practices and promote a culture of quality, accountability, and operational excellence.
• Manage project priorities, resource planning, execution timelines, and stakeholder communication.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, architects, cloud operations, and security teams to execute technical strategy.
• Proactively identify risks and improve processes to ensure system reliability at scale.
• Build an inclusive engineering culture focused on continuous learning and career growth.

What we're looking for

• BS/MS in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• 8+ years of technical engineering experience coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
• 10+ years of engineering management experience.
• Experience designing or integrating AI/ML-powered features into production systems.
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems fundamentals.
• Strong understanding of databases, NoSQL systems, storage, and distributed persistence technologies.
• Proven ability to define and execute technical strategy and lead teams through complex technical and organizational challenges.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
