Senior Manager, Software Engineering

What you'll do

• Lead a team of software engineers in the design, development, and implementation of products or foundational technology.
• Manage large and complex projects from the initial requirements phase through to final completion.
• Oversee product and system-level tradeoffs and design decisions to ensure high quality and consistency.
• Maintain engineering processes and standards for design reviews, security, and testing.
• Provide schedules and resource estimates while driving successful product roadmap discussions.
• Lead discussions with customers and stakeholders to gather feedback and explain technical solutions.
• Ensure all software development practices and architectures adhere to strict security standards.
• Account for the quality, performance, and reliability of products within the area of responsibility.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field and 12+ years of software engineering experience.
• Master's degree and 10+ years of software engineering experience.
• 4+ years of management experience leading software engineering teams in the design, development, and implementation of software engineering products.
• 5+ years of experience working with software engineering security development and architecture.
• Experience with security automation, response workflows, orchestration platforms, case triage, or enterprise security products (preferred).
• Experience leading customer-facing SaaS or hybrid-cloud services with high expectations for reliability and release quality (preferred).
