You will develop authenticated REST and WebSocket APIs, manage large-scale data normalization, and ensure secure, compliant AI usage. Key technologies include Python 3.10+, SQL, and various authentication protocols like Kerberos and SSO. You will solve complex problems in risk-oversight workflows by creating auditable systems, streaming large datasets, and providing observability through logs, metrics, and tracing within a regulated environment.

What you'll do

Build and maintain a full-stack Python toolkit and data products to power agentic risk-oversight workflows.
Implement LLM-based services including RAG, tool orchestration, prompt management, and safety guardrails.
Develop authenticated REST and streaming APIs with robust security, pagination, and retry logic.
Create data pipelines to stream, normalize, and join large datasets using performant SQL.
Write secure production code and comprehensive tests while conducting rigorous peer code reviews.
Build observability into services using logs, metrics, and tracing to automate remediation for operational issues.
Drive the adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices and governance across the development lifecycle.
Generate interactive HTML dashboards and structured evidence packages for technical and non-technical stakeholders.

What we're looking for

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
Advanced Python proficiency (3.10+) including dataclasses, type hints, generators, and CLI frameworks.
Strong SQL and data-modeling skills for performant queries and joins across large schemas.
Hands-on experience delivering generative AI/LLM solutions including RAG, tool orchestration, and guardrails.
Proven experience building authenticated API integrations (REST and streaming/WebSocket) with robust error handling and security.
Demonstrated experience leading the use of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools.
Experience building secure, auditable systems with versioning, access controls, and comprehensive logging.
Experience with risk management domains and building in regulated environments (preferred).
