Senior Lead Java and Artificial Intelligence Engineer, Senior Vice President

What you'll do

• Develop and adopt tooling to enhance the development lifecycle across scrum teams.
• Mentor junior developers and lead code reviews to establish AI standards and best practices.
• Implement DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Build and stand up automated testing frameworks for integration into CI/CD pipelines.
• Perform hands-on coding and problem-solving to maintain a strong presence in active development.
• Partner with architects to design scalable microservices and robust solutions for complex technical challenges.
• Drive the adoption of new technologies and methodologies to improve team productivity and product quality.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent job experience.
• 10+ years of experience in software development lifecycle, microservices architecture, and API design principles.
• 5+ years of experience with DevOps tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Docker, Kubernetes) and Infrastructure as Code practices.
• Experience with Apache Kafka and event-driven architectures.
• Experience with diverse data storage solutions including NoSQL, SQL, and data lakes.
• Demonstrated leadership in managing teams, mentoring engineers, and setting development standards.
• Knowledge of responsible AI practices such as bias detection and hallucination mitigation (preferred).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, payment systems, and performance optimization for large-scale applications (preferred).
