The position requires expertise in RF test infrastructure, including spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and channel emulators, alongside networking skills involving VLANs, routing, and switching. The work focuses on creating production-representative lab setups to support integration, regression, throughput, and multi-device validation for a low Earth orbit satellite network.

What you'll do

Execute end-to-end lab buildouts for RF and system-integration environments across Austin, San Diego, and Seattle.
Coordinate the deployment of racks, chambers, RF infrastructure, test equipment, cabling, power, and cooling systems.
Manage lab network operations including VLANs, routing, switching, firewall access, and test-device isolation.
Maintain lab documentation such as diagrams, runbooks, rack elevations, port maps, and operational procedures.
Translate technical requirements into Bills of Materials (BOMs), purchase requests, and vendor delivery schedules.
Manage vendor coordination for chamber deployment, electrical work, RF infrastructure installation, and equipment calibration.
Track CapEx/Opex needs, asset inventory, and lifecycle tracking for all lab hardware and instruments.
Travel to multiple sites to lead critical lab moves, chamber installations, and infrastructure deployment efforts.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Power Engineering, or a related field.
7+ years of new hardware products development experience.
7+ years of engineering team management experience.
Experience in DFx (cost, test, manufacturing).
Experience with the project management of technical projects.
Knowledge of AWS or cloud technologies (preferred).
Experience developing products for large volume production (preferred).
Export control laws and regulations, candidates.
